Rear susp. bushings?
 

I have a bad suspension bushing in the right rear trailing arm of my 92 DX hatch. Some mechanic was telling me I need to replace the trailing arm, which sounded like BS to me. Can the bushing not be pressed out and replaced?

yes they are lying to you

on the EG all bushings on the lca can be replaced

get the master kit. might be a little extra but you save $$ in the long run if any other bushings were to go out. my front LCA bushings were shot and when the car was jacked up i can move the wheels in and out. since i was bringing it into the shop to get it fixed i got them to do the back anyways because i know the back would eventually go. i bought the kit not knowing that it was missing the inner lca bushing and i had to get a seperate kit that came with all this other stuff. so i just got them to replace all the bushings there. it was a good fix because now the car is stiffer with the polyurethane bushings in.

I can't use Urethane, because I'm prepping the car to run H-stock in solo-2. But maybe I can find an OE replacement set for most, if not all of the bushings?

as far as bushings, if your a member you can get a good deal on OE bushings from Parkway, they will hook you up well and you could do all 6 of them, or maybe even buy a new LCA for cheaper with all new bushings in it

I'm not sure what your deal with Parkway is, but I know the parts manager at London Honda and he can get me Honda parts at a good price. I was wondering more if there is a cheap aftermarket source. Like NAPA?

napa might carry them but most likely they will send you to honda. I remember calling napa last year about bushings and they said they don't have them and call honda

I think your options are just OEM and ES or another urethane company

Marsht he trail arm bushing is available for around 29 bucks I've been told at parkway. if you want me to pick you up 1 I can bring it with me to the SPDA school or the next WOSCA event
