see, that's why I ask what you think it is, cuz I'm pretty sure SIR does not have a stock strut bar, nor do I see whay you would have to remove that?? that's why I asked what you thought it is?

that's an ITR sway bar, yours should be nearly 2/3 the size of mine (14mm vs 22mm)

so yeah... sway bar. strut bar would be in your trunk

yeah, no need to remove that.... it's often seized up on older cars anyways.

Tip: when you try to remove the lower control arm bolt, make sure you take the tires off, it will create less force on the camber and make your live a lot easier.

It's not necessary, but very recommended. You can do some serious damage to your car if your swaybar is too big. It will put a lot of stress on the subframe. The Beaks kit re-inforces the area the swaybar mounts to.

If you want to run Beak's kit, you will need a high spring rate at the back to support it. Soft spring rate will still rip out the subframe. And another thing to ensure the long life of your subframe is to weld the Beak's kit. I sold my brand new Beak's kit and switch to ASR racing plate.
