Well, i had my car up on the hoist just other day at school, and i can see where the bad clunking noises were coming from. The bushing is sooo loose that the shocks can move around back and forth, lol so i'm just wondering, it looks simple... i replaced the front one before but i'm thinking of replacing just the bushings this time.

Any tips one can give me as to how to do it? and where to possibly get some quality bushings from? I heard P.I's got some decent ones...

normally I just get an air chisel.. give the outer sleeve a few hits towards the center so it can clear the arm. Then get a chisel adapter and just hit it dead on and it should pop out.

To put the new one in I just find a socket that fits over the outer sleeve.. and hit it untill its in (make sure to note how far the bushing was in, on the old bushing first) Also if you have a friend.. its a good idea to get him to hold a hammer or something on the other side of the arm (not on the bushing) just so it reduces the flex a bit.. but its not necessary

buy online Poly's are soo easy to put in just knock out ur old bushing and slide the poly's in and u can get them shipped to ur door for 70 bucks cdn for both sides
