Rear ITR vs SiR endlinks.. the same or diff?

Will Rear ITR endlinks work on an SiR LCA (or in my case a 1.6EL)

Im going to need to get new endlinks from the dealer regardless so I was wondering if the ITR endlinks would work. I take it that they would be stronger then SiR's

not really... I have both sets of endlinks and I've installed ITR bar on a car with ITR LCAs... the ITR LCAs are VERRRRY different. I didn't try it on my car, but it's highly unlikely. I dunno if you have ever seen the ITR endlinks, they are nothing like the SiR ones.

oh yeah... I dun have a pic, but they are NOT the spherical bearing type that SiR ones are.

they are solid units - you know how the end of the ITR bar is - where the rubber bushing goes through the hole at the end? Ok, the endlink is a channel that goes overtop of that part and a bolt goes straight through, and then at the bottom there is a bushing that a bolt goes through and bolts into the LCA. It's different... It MAY MAY MAY work, but you'd likely need to make a custom spacer since the ITR LCAs are wider, hence the endlink would end up in the wrong place.

Anywhooo question for YOU!!! When you put your BEAK's kit on, did you have any clearance issues in the upper inner parts of the outside (thick) part. I found mine didn't lay flat when tightened down as it was hitting the subframe. This would have snapped that bolt head right off the minute it saw any real force. Anyways... we grinded down the Beaks kit to fit. I was disappointed that I had to do that though :-\

you will have to use SiR endlinks. and **** they are expensive. ****ing honda..not to mention they are impossible to find used since most of them break when being taken off. stupid weaksauce things. honda is stupid. i dont know why they used those links. shouldve just used the itr ones. they are much stronger but most likely will not work with the el. I couldnt find SiR endlinks used and since both of mine were broken I had no choice but to use the ITR ones.(well i couldve bought them new..but forget that.they cost to much).they didnt quite fit right so i just drilled new holes in my lca's......lol. yeah not the most scientific or best set up but its been working fine and the car doesnt pull in weird directions or act strangely. im using mugen plates+bushings btw with reversed SiR mounts

ITR endlinks will not fit on sir lca's.

Tony, our LCAs have provisions for a rear sway

No other LCA will fit a EK chassis

My buddy has ITR LCA on his EG, that's why I know what they're like.

I run ITR rear sway with EK endlinks and EK LCA hope that clears it up.

i cant believe you didnt believe me... ya bum... the integra type r ones leave about a 1/2 inch gap on both sides...

since the sir endlinks have the top connecting nut turned 90 degrees, at makes up the difference in space...

the sir links are fackin expensive... **$ for each
