Just what the the title says.... Do i need new shoes or what?

So im planning on replacing all my brakes just because they do not feel like the best and i just bought the car, so new pads and shoes, im lookin at roughly 100?

the cost depends on where you buy them.. if you go oem or aftermarket.

Well im guessing i want to go cheaper, so i guess thats OEM is it not? I was lookin at going to part source or Canadian Tire to buy them.

60$ for the premiums.. 45$ for certifieds, 32$ for economy for pads.. shoes are something like 32.99 for the premiums and 26 for the standards. I think I'm right.. off the top of my head.

imo dont waste your money on the premiums

Okay so im lookin at buying them right now for my 89 DX... Am i buying the right things? Front pads and rear shoes? I guess thats what the pads are cxalled in the rear. Now im lookin at going to CT tonite to get them. Im probably going to go for pads, certifieds or economy, which one do you recomend? And shoes im goin standards.

if you dont auto x or race around then just go with the cheapest.

I just picked up rear shoes for my Civic for 23 bucks plus tax at Canadian Tire. Jasper branded and they say Nissin on them.

If you race then get something else.

the difference between the two aren't that of which you are going to notice. Since its an 89 get the cheapest ones.

I dont race its a daily driver... This car would not be able to race lol. Its my own Gino POS EF BOX... LOL.l... Thats what we will call it.
