I cant believe the guys ****ed up the bolt and instead of replaceing the bolt and bushing, tryed to cover it up, putting your life at risk! You call this person a friend? If they couldnt handle the job at least tell you so you could go to a shop and have the bolt and bushing replaced properly, because in the end thats what your doing anyway, except you could of been killed. If I were you I would go punch the ****er in the face.
10$ for a bolt, probably need a new bushing which would require a new lower control arm which I "think" is around 100$, check parkway. The install for this would take less than an hour at any "capable" shop. so maybe 150ish total for a proper job. Dont quote me on the controll arm price tho, go ask yourself. |
