Reading check engine light??

My car, 97 civic hatch, threw a check engine light. So I went and tested the ecu to get the code. I'm just double checking to see if I read it right!

I turn the key, and theres a pause, a click, and ONE fast blink.

So if that code 1? Primary O2 sensor? Let me know so i'm sure! Thanks!

try this, there is a two pin connector underneath the glove box on the passenger side, get a cotter pin or a peice of wire, or anything that can canduct electricity, and join the two pins, then then engine light will flash x number of times then you can find out the code from the net or your local honda dealer.
or just pm me, i'm a honda mechanic

Good luck

Yeah I already know how to do it, and I did.

I"m just not sure if i'm reading the code right! I turned the key, there was a pause, then a click, and then it blinked once fast. So is this code 1?
