Re...."heard of this intake?"...."PRM"

well....just to let you guys know.....I sent NUMEROUS e-mails to them.......guess how many came back........0.

Thread.......

Heard of this intake?

I guess it seems as if they don't care about sending this info to poeple that are interested in thier products.

By the way, this is the FIRST company that didn't send me a responce.

Oh well.....I don't care.

Anyone that would like to try to get an answer back for these guys....go ahead and try.

As a side note, I did talk to the guy at PRM during a telephone conversation....(don't want to post his name here), (Rice Burner knows who I talked to), and he said to send him an e-mail, and he would send me the info right back........but after around 7 e-mails, I said faqk it. If he doesn't care, neither do I.

I'd post the e-mail, but I deleted the damn thing.

Just go to the web site, there is a local number you can call.

I'm not going to do anymore work on this.

if they want to supply the intake for a test, I am willing to pay for the dyno time to do a comparison. I don't wan't to keep the intake, but hey, if it makes the most power I'll buy it!

now send that to PRM and let's see how confident they are about that intake

Oh, it's been out for a while, and quite a few people have it.......but its funny that 'someone' never came back to post the info.

I found it when I was doing a search for info, for the other intake thread that was posted here.

If I remember corectly, the "ram air" part was a modification. The PRM intake was basically a regular CAI, but it was made of a vinyl/rubber type of material. This also kept the heat of the engine from heating up the pipe, and also the air flow into the throtle body.

I'd still like to see the numbers though.

I already know what the differences in HP between a CAI/short ram/factory will be (not much if you read the article in Sport Compact magazine's peformane book. ) I just wanted to see what this thing could do.

If you remeber the conversation with that "someone" you'll recall that they contacted PRM and so did you and PRM failed to send dyno number's. That "someone" is not posting his numbers. As B16 Civic said the were posted in SCC and the DO beat the AEM. It's a great product it's unfortunate PRM doesn't put up some info. Oh well life moves on.
