re:9" to 10" brake upgrade HELP

I am in the middle of doing a 10" brake upgrade to my 96 civic cx. Was putting everything intoplace then realized the the drive shaft spline is to short. Does anyone know why? Is there a difference in spline length between the 9 and 10" shafts? Or is the whole shaft different. I know i will need for both sides, so if anyone can shead any light into my problem i would appreciate it.
thanx

Found out today there are 2 lengths of shafts with regardes to si and reg. civics with the 10" rotor. I believe the si has a shorter shaft length, than say somthing like a 4dr non vtec without abs has a longer shaft. The difference is about 1 in length". Will update later.
thanx for the help
