re:205 or 215 rubber on ek?

whats the widest rubber you can go on a ek platform without rubbing the inner or outter fender? Will a 215 rub? What offset will you need on a rim to run a 215 or higher?

the only way you could run 215 without rubbing would be to either use spacers or throw a rim on the car with a offset that will compensate for the wider tires.

195 for daily driving cause the tires will turn much easier; 205 for slight improvement on handling and part weekend racer; 215 and 225 are for serious road racings.

The wider your tire, the harder it is to turn at low speed.

im using a 205, excellent traction from the take off. 205 rub a little bit for me when i turn the wheel all the way. i dont have power steering and i have no problem turning from a stand still with 205s as long as their properlly inflated.

I use 205 at summer, now going back to 185 all season. I have a set of 225 which I will try to put on and see how that goes.

I run a 205/505/15 on a EF hatch, and i don't rub at all, but i do have a small spacer. I do believe tho hat without the spacer i wouldn't rub, but i havent tried it.

I had 215 at the back and the tires were damn close to the quarters, I could bearly fit a finger in there. When I run 225, it is gonna be interesting...

I have 205/50/15 and my rims offset is pretty wide. Everytime I hit the wrong bump my front tires rub the fender well, sometimes they hit so bad, that eventually now the paint is chipping off my front fenders due to the wheels actually bending the edge of my fender!!!!

When I am buying tires, for sure I will go 195, no nore 205. I'm a daily driver, and drive to waterloo often so it's a **** off rubbing tires every bad bump.

from the back or front it has such a sick looking stance... 205 all the way... even 285 for the rears with some spacers and cut out the rear fenders... now thats baller.
