rattling sound from engine compartment?

Every time I start my car when it's cold, I hear a rattling sound coming from the motor area. After driving it for about 5 mins, the sound is gone. This only happens when the engine's cold. What could be wrong?

Is iti a high pitched rattle...almost tinny sounding. It may be a loose heat shield. Get under there and start shaking things.

Nope, it's not the heat shield. I removed it a couple of years ago.

Valve adjustment needed.....perhaps

Air intake secured....you still got that short ram...

How about the pulleys for the air con...they still off to the side...

I'm guessing it's the valves as well. But just wanna make sure

Air intake is secure, and no it's not the pulleys. The rattling sounds like it's coming from within the motor.

If your valves are THAT loud you better get them adjusted.

That's the thing, I'm not sure if it is the valves. Though I will be getting them adjusted pretty soon. I just hope it is the valves, cuz I don't wanna run into the same problem with that other noise coming from the fuel pump area.
