radiator... 93 CX

Hey, My radiator looks like it'g almost gone, the fins are all falling off. I went to speedy and they want like $300 for install and part.

It looks like a simple job to do, is it???
Looking to buy a used one from somewhere and install it myself.

Thanks

as long as you can drain it ok and you know how to bleed the system after the reinstall shouldn't bee too hard

$300 doesn't seem unreasonable to me. When I replaced the rad in mine the rad alone cost $250, now add in the cost of new coolant and labour for the install it sounds about right.

It's not that hard of an install to do, you just need to drain the coolant, disconnect the lower and upper rad hoses, disconnect and transfer the fan to the new rad then reinstall everything. Add coolant, remove all air bubbles and your on your way.

I spent 300 for a new rad myself when I had to replace it .... legacy is right about it being reasonable hoever a do it yourself job is cheaper
