I want a deep sound, not too loud
I must choose one from:

Apexi, Bomx, R1, Ractive, Fireball style, Magnaflow

This muffler with tip is really low air resistant and it will allow 10-15 more horse power at the rear wheels than a stock exhaust.
hmm...... a muffler that adds 10-15 hp to the REAR wheels of a Honda?

i never knew a muffler could provide such gains to the REAR wheels

my advice...... don't buy a ractive muffler...... it will be loud & annoying

go with an apexi worldsport catback...... or if your tight on cash get a magnaflow muffler and get an exhaust shop to weld on stainless steel piping......

thats what i went with and its

i have the CRX version of that.
While its not too loud it does have the tip too big imo.
I'd consider getting a 3" tip put on I wonder if it would mess up the sound...

OK this to everyone in this tread.. ...any canister or "firball style" is gonna be loud and ricey sounding...seeing how your car is stock in the picture it would look twice as gay...get an itr (integra type r) muffler it looks stock and flows REally good...it is what everyoen who isnt' gay is switchign to because of the annoyign heat score and loud factor of canister or shitty cheapo mufflers...get an Oem ITR muffler and thanke me later...oh ya and soem 2 1/4 piping to go with it.....no "axle back" BS...

jj2ii3344, I know a guy with a ractive muffler, its loud and raspy, maybe cux the packing probably blew out of it already...If you want to go for the can style, and dont want to spend much and want a nice deep tone, try a vibrant with a silencer (incase you think its too loud, the silencer is a bit louder than stock, very quiet..) about 150$ new... My best friend has had his for almost 2 years, it looks and sounds the exact same as the day he bought it... like i said its a deep tone, makes the engine sound bigger than a 4cyl...doesnt sound like a sewing machine...

haha I hate how peopel with 4 cylinders are always askgin "is it deep"...well at low rpm's it will be "deep" but will turn into ****...canisters are:

old
not cool anymore
a cliche
ricey
loud

get a magnaflow non canister style with soem 2 1/4 piping and a nice big resonator (which is the real way of makign a nice soundign exhaust happen) dont' jsut get a muffler and weld it one yoru stock exhaust...for the "look" dont' be a poser do it right...magnaflow is good you are on the right path..but an ITR muffler is a nice sleeper setup

My exhaust is not raspy but low and deep.
And no at high rpm it does not sound like a weedwhacker.
So far the sounds hasn't gotten worst, just got a lil deeper and sounds better IMO with the new engine, but it could also have been because I added a header as well.

If I could do it all over again I'd get an HKS exhaust, since it looks almost stock, but helps a bit. don't want problems.

But I LOVE the Spoon exahust

i hate how people think they know everything about cars and exhust... and how they think everyone is dumper then them cause they asked a question.... and i really hate when people think they are god of the import industry... just cause you dont think "canisters" aren't good does that mean they are old?? i bet they were manufactured within the year so that makes them old?? and not cool anymore? according to who?? do you even know what a cliche is?? and rice isn't so much your exhust... but having parts on your car that clearly hinder performance rather then improve it.... and most people get an after market exhust so there exhust is loud??

stick that in your pipe

This forum would be dead if everyones responses were as negative and belittling as this guys... everyone would be scared to ask questions, being afraid to be embarrased ...and besides the fact I didnt once read anywhere in the question if anyone thought it was cool or not to have a can style muffler... He simply asked if it would fit, what it would sound like, and if its a quality brand... Which has been answered properly by most of the respected members here...

learn to read the question....
