Ractive mugen muffler/header

Got both these on today with help of dad and uncle. Took long...lol

Anyways its these products...

Ractive MTP330 - Very impressive quality. Shiny and nice welding. Sounded a bit stock while idle and once you go faster its throatier...My uncle says very smart design. Not a loud one!

Ractive H101 - Typically welding but will do. Chrome. Car pulls stronger and faster with both of these on. Much smoother transisitions to.

Overall I like both The header is so so quality but will do for me and how much i got for it... The muffler is a definate yes.

YAY! Now if somebody could just pay for my dyno tests!

Please dont mention ractive and mugen in one sentance.

And another thing... why switch to a ractive header? you'll dyno higher with the oem exhaust manifold.

Got proof to back the exhasut manifold lie? Trust me you won't get more power with a stock one over the Ractive header you....Did you even compare the two? The DX manifold is ****.

And why can't I say Ractive and Mugen in the same sentence? I'm saying it right now. I'm stating the truth. It's a Ractive copy of the Mugen Twin Loop.

How much did you pay? From what I read on this forum, the Mugen Twin Loop muffler is just a bit louder than stock? Is this true? Is it obnoxiously loud? I want a stock looking muffler and don't want it be loud at all. Hope you can help me out.

Thanks,
Fred

Well since JDM Warehouse (Amar is a good guy BTW) had a August sale and how they give warehouse prices, I paid 365 for the muffler. Other places wanted 410+ for it. And the header is around 217.

Vato...Yes it is all true. When you start the car it's very quiet and just a bit louder than stock. A tiny bit. But once you speed up it gets more throatier. My uncle liked it very much. It's not annoying, totally liveable.

Its not loud *** like those other LOUD mufflers like my brother has.

Thanks, I would really appreciate it.

My muffler is not doing it for me no more, there's nothing wrong with it at all....it just looks ugly. The only reason I haven't gone for the muffler is because if I bought a muffer, installed it and it sounded ****ty...money is wasted right there. If I don't buy an aftermarket muffler, I will probably just add an OEM style muffler tip and paint the muffler a flat black, clean up the rear a bit.

Also interested in a photo of the muffler and perhaps a sound clip would be extra nice. I have a 5zigen fireball and it's starting to irritate me on longer drives. Kinda loud and would like somehting on the quieter side.

Maybe tomorrow I can get the sound clip up...

Theres one thing though...The sound clip will have both muffler and header installed. The header may make it sound a lil louder than just with the OEM manifold on.

And for number two...I have a wrong, too rich ECU. It may not sound right because it idles a bit more than it should be...I expect to get the right ECU within the week?

But if you guys still want it, I can get it probably by tomorrows end...

I have pics of the muffler/header.

The tip is about 3.5-4 inches...I can stick my 17 yr old fists in...but Who cares.

Oh sorry I can get an audio clip soon when I get the right ECU. And ya some of you might notice in the disscussion forum - trafficinsurance etc forum that we got in a incident with the police (got busted)...

Anyways I'll still try to get it for ya...Just maybe not gonna be here often now...Gotta figure stuff out.
