quick question

wat is the difference between a b16a and a b16a2 i searched but i didnt get horsepower and other stats. if im correct a2 is wit a hydro clutch? yes its a noob question but the search isnt my friend

b16a = jdm and b16a2 = usdm

numbers after the engine code usually designate usdm models

search "honda engine codes" in google and it will bring you to a huge list of all the specs for all the honda engines in the last 20 years

a2 is from a 99-00 SiR
a3 is from the 94-95 del Sol
a is just JDM whatever... there are all kinds of them out there, no specific model or year really.

all 160 hp engines... and yeah the a2 and a3 are hydro for sure. the JDM ones are a toss up

thanks guy i thought that was rite.. one guy said the b16a2 has 170 hp im just double checkin my info

ye i know i heard b16a1 were 160hp and b16a2 were 168hp... meh i maybe wrong...

negative... the USDM B18C1 is 170 hp I'm pretty sure. there are nuff sites to find info tho

out of what cars? engine code?

there are 185 hp B16s too... except they're B16B CTR engines.

USDM D16Y8 comes with 168 HP too...... cuz i have one
