hey guys I have a quick question
my motor is getting really hot really fast and I don';t know why
also sometimes it smells like burning coolant when I am driving

also I was wondering what is your oil temp suppose to be at after you warm up your car??

if you smell coolant, check for leaks and check the level in the overflow resivoir....if you notice the level going down, either its leaking out somewhere or being burned....check the spark plugs, if the tips are really white and smell sweet, then you are most likely burning coolant.

my bet would just be a leak dripping on the exhaust.

I checked the spark plugs and the level of my overflow resivoir tank and the same
but my coolent in my rad is going down slowly

check that first make sure its not a leak , also does your exhuast smellsweet/look white, i mean worst case your headgaskets ****ed and your burning the coolant.

Coolant level is going down? Car is getting hot fast? Could potentially be a head gasket. Check your oil for coolant and your coolant for oil. Are you getting a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust?

When I blew a rad hose it made me hungry, kind of smelt like maple syrup!
