Quick fix exhaust question

Hey guys, I need to fix my exhaust quickly, there's like 5 holes in the muffler and the sound is driving me insane. I don't have much money right now, my budget for this exhaust is like 100 bucks, what should I do? Crappy Tire and just buy a new muffler? Is it worth patching the holes? Any suggestions? TIA

what is with the spam AzimuthX?....

ok dude if you want a muffler just get a cheap replacement one that bolts on and then it's a do it yourself job... no need to waste money having a shop weld something in place get a bolt on no hassle then....

cheap cheap fix is look in the Candian Tire exhaust isle...they have many "patch" kits for exhaust systems. May be a bit crappy but will probably stop the bleeding until you can save some cash and do it right.

Use some of that exhaust wrap/tape you can find at Canadian Tire. It's a quick fix.

If the muffler has hole indeed just buy a bolt on muffler and do it your self.

Ok turns out the muffler has collapsed on the inside, so me and my dad took it off, so I just need an exleback replacement... Does anyone remember those R1 mufflers we got going on in the GB, are they loud? Cause I might just pick one of those up...

Thanks James, I'll tell my dad cause hes the one paying for it. So its just the muffler right? not the whole axleback tubing and all. The exhaust you put on your car, was it just axle back? or did u do catback?

The free exhaust is just the muffler and about 1 inch of piping where they cut it off from the old exhaust system.

With my replacement (piece of **** ractive) it's just an axle back.

I still have my OEM axelback. It has a little rust/dirt, no holes, but otherwise it's perfect. If it will fit on your car, you can have it for $50. Does anyone know if a 98 axelback will fit on his car?
