Quick ATF Questions

Hey guys, forgive me for going n00b on you guys just this one time regarding ATF, but I'm doing this because I don't have an owner's manual just yet. :hide:

1. Like on Accords, is the ATF level in my 2000 Civic checked with the motor OFF on level ground?

2. I'm okay re-using the metal gasket on the ATF drain plug, yes?

I presume Yes and No as the answer, but just wanted confirmation. Thanks gents.

1. Yes, car should be OFF for sure and levelled.
2. Make sure you clean aall the dirt off the gasket before putting the drain plug back on.
