Question: Will EK shocks fit on an EG??
As the topic says, i got a set of APEXi N1 Damper coilovers off of a EK(96-200) civic for a really good deal but i'm not sure if it will fit the rear lca on my car which is a EG(92-95) civic does anyone know if the straight swap will work??

The EG bushing is larger than the EK one. If you want to use EG shocks on EK, you need washers on each side. If you want to use EK shocks on EG, you need to shave off parts of the bushing to fit the thinner EK shock.
EG/DC2 are interchangeable. If you want to use ITR shocks on an EG/DC2, you need the ITR LCA's. The 88 (88 only, not 89-91) Civic/CRX's use the ITR-style shocks (eye type not fork type like EG/EK).

The ITR and 88 Civic/CRX have an eye-type connection on the rear shock. It's a bushing with the slot for the bolt to go through. The 89-00 Civics all have a fork-type connection to the shock to attach to the LCA.
The 4th and 6th gen will be interchangeable as long as you shave the bushing or use washers (depending on which shock is going on which car).
