Question on CEL
So Was drivin this morning and to my surprise! The number one thing i hate to see! The CEL is on. Jumped my Srvc Connector and threw these codes
6Short(Code 6)
Long pause
This is supposed to be the ECT Sensor
8Short(Code 8)
Long Pause
This is supposed to be TDC Sensor
4Long,1 Short(Code 41)
This is suppose to be Oxygen Sensor / Heater Circut
Repeat
Anyways i figured since the new suspension upgrades and bumpy roads i could have loosened some of these sensors.
I unpluged the Harness on the Dizzy ( the big harness ) to check for any bent plugs or dirt. Thing was fine?
Then checked the ECT Harness to see if it was loose... it was fine as well? I basically made sure all those connections were snug.
So i reset my ECU ALL Codes are gone?! Wtf? Even with these codes the car still ran prime.. any ideas on what caused this? Im stumped?!
As for code 41 im was assuming im gonna change my o2 sensor before i start tackling plugs, wires, filters etc.... but the code is no longer there.

tdc sensor, is in your distributor.
o2 sensor has failed obviously. If you have a solid street tune you can run open loop and disable the heater circuit.
check the wiring to the ECT, if fine, replace it to. a bad ect will affect your performance greatly
