LOL, I was just going to post this very question.
I'm thinking about buying a set from Ebay.
The seller is willing to sell me a set of Ventus Sport K104 195/50R15 for 290 USD shipped... I'm still undecided because duties and brokerage fees are a bitch!
Learned that the hard way when I bought my rims from the states.
So does anyone know if 290 USD shipped is a good price?

Thats about $406cad @1.40 exchange. You can get a set of Kumho 712's for about the same price. These are the best tires for that price.

i wouldn't swap mine for nuthin'..after the first 250 km or so, once the hard outer skin is burped off they're incredible!!
strictly a 3 season tire tho..

Yes... BUT - if I bought from Tiretrends, I would still have to pay for shipping & TAX $$$
If I bought from Ebay, I'd only have to pay duties... I'm still learning the "tricks" to minimizing the duties... such as super-undeclaring the value of the goods, and getting the customs paperwork done ahead of time to negate brokerage fees...
