question about test pipe

question about test pipe

has anyone used and ran a test pipe on there civic? just wondering how loud it was and if the power was noticeable?

for power wise nit really much, untill you start to put alot of mods on your car, but **** is it loud man, espically if you have a full cat back, it really start to get annoying after some time.

no point

there's no point in using a test or straight pipe if u've got a stock engine, let alone SOHC. Even w/ a stock B-series, there won't be a significant gain. If anything, you'll lose backpressure and torque in the lower range.

But, if you're using forced induction, a straight pipe is the cheapest way to get more power.

However, you'll get a hefty fine for having no cat in the streets.
the best thing to do is to fabricate a fake-cat.

and in terms of how loud it'll be, it depends in ur mods.
stock- it'll sound like a fart can
200+hp- thunderous
