Question about scrapping the car.

I'm not sure if i've posted in the right thread or not, if not pls move it to where it should be. I have a 93 civic hb which has been damaged. All or most of the parts have been removed. I want to remove the shocks and springs too. Is it possible for those guys to pickup the car when i remove the shocks and springs without putting another set of shocks and spring to hold the car? Some people are telling me to use wood or something? How does that work? So they will definitely need a flat bed to tow it rite? Hope someone can let me know. I also want to remove the rack too if i can. Then i want to get rid of the car. Does anyone know how does it work?

they come with a flatbed and just winch the car on there. in many accidents wheels, etc get busted off.... they just drag the car onto the flatbed. might cost you money though.

just take off all you want, call them to pick it up and just tell them there are no wheels/suspension on it...basically just a metal shell.

or you could find a friend with a trailer, put the car on it and leave it in an open field or under a bridge. I've seen this done with a boat haha

it shouldn't cost oyu anything... should be free.. i've gotten 4 cars towed away every time they gave me 20-50$ some were bare honda shells others were with zc engines, others just whole cars with blown motors.... if they charge you you are getting ripped off....

Cool thanx. Let me call and find out. I've gotten cash with cars that don't run. I got like $30 but with wheels and engine. This 1 has nothing so yeah. I was just curious. I call those company now and see if it's a free pick up.
