I'd like some head...
OK, the B16 casting is a far better casting than a B18C head casting... for P&P there is only ONE man I'd trust for the job - Steve Leitner of Leitner performance... go see him for a port and polish. - he's also an affiliate and will give you preferred pricing if you are a paid TCC member.

b16 and type r heads are the same and like bbarbulo said they are better than the gsr head.
the guy I trust for P&P is Will at Point Zero in Waterloo (this is guy who has built my cars). This guy is up there with the best of the best in Toronto and actually races a 92 civic hatch (with a 200+whp b16). He is currently working on a new head (type r base) for next season and would be a great time for anyone to visit the shop to learn, plus he is one of the few distributors for Skunk2 and takes the time to explain the process of building power on the b series blocks. He also builds IASCA winning stereo systems (helped build mine).
btw, it IS worth the drive to Waterloo. It has fast moving traffic with the left lane usually travelling at over 150 past milton and I have never seen a cop in the 100000+ km I have personally put on it (well I have but those are the few days when the left lane has slowed to 120)

POINT ZERO up in Waterloo North??? I've been to that shop - it started out as a stereo shop several years back... he had that ITR in the showroom, right? And someone there had a cosmetically modified CR-V

bbarulo, yes that is the shop. Oddly enought that ITR was a winning IASCA car. The shop has moved into serious performance and Will puts on a few track day each year and races himself (civic and nsx). Some serious stereo and performance cars have been built there.
