In that case, the engine should breath better then it used to be. I would assume it can net you a couple ponies. It you want an exact reading, take the car for a dyno test. Don't just add the 10 hp that says on the manufacturer's box.

sorry, but............

ractive headers are ****, if you didn't know. you might make 2hp or so. to be honest the best headers on the market are about $1000CAD, if you are putting this on a b series motor. if you don't have hihger compression, free flowing exhaust, decent cams etc. then your gains will be minimal. the best header for you dollar is the dc 4-2-1. it's quality is pretty good, and they are tuned for max power, unlike ractive. the dc 4-1 is good for slightly higher peak hp, but, they suffer a bit in the lower and mid range of the powerband. to be honest, there is only one reason why the dc 4-1 header makes very good power, and any of the quality 4-2-1 headers on the market can make mucher more power than the dc 4-1 with one little mod. anyway, it's too hard to tell you what type of power is available because your set-up is unknown, but i can tell you that you'll probably make more hp & tq be simply adding a str8 pipe. sell the ractive, save some more money, and buy a quality header. for all of the serious B20vtec's and high compression B16a's, & B18c's, there are some headers on the us market that str8 DESTROY any manufaturers product, but these are strictly for the wild.......Header Tech, Hytech, AN-R, SMSP.......these bad boys make 20whp & 20wtq with proper tuning. trust me, look in to it. mind you, the cheapest of the bunch is about $660CAD for street versions and some race versions are as much as $1400CAD (Hytech adjustable header, you can configure the header about 60 different ways be changing piping diameter, secondary length etc......is it worth it? lets put it this way, how much is a dc stainless???????
