Question about Exhaust.. your help pls.
 

Ok, my friend drives a 1992 civic Ex from the USA.. it has a d16z6 and its 5 speed w/4wheel disc. Now the problem is that his exhaust is broken. Im trying to find him a cheap used pipe - they want 300 for the section needed. The section he needs is behind the cat - from the cat to the muffler. Also the diameter of the pipe appears to be that of a si.

Could someone correct me but i thought in canada they didnt have a si 4 door in 1992?

Hes a struggling family man, with little cash flow, so im trying to get his car to pass etest..

Does anyone have anything that will fit? LMK

If he is really short of cash he could take the car to a custom exhaust shop and they could connect the broken pieces by welding a short piece in.

That would cost him MUCH less than $300. Just something to think about.

Yeah its actually broken at the rear flange

Any midpipe from an 5th or 6th Gen Si Coupe or EL should fit. They can be easily found for under $100. I think loudsubz has an EL midpipe for sale that he had on his 5th Gen Sedan.

It might be cheaper jsut to buy a used catback off someone. There around. You jsut have to look on some for sale forum's.
