question about 18s

i got a quest bought a set of rims thinking they were 17s but they are really 18s will they fit on a 95 civic sedan or will they rub?

Whiplash 30-Apr-2005 01:35 PM

depends on width and profile...

Younes Si 30-Apr-2005 02:34 PM

holy s hit, 18's :hide:

imported_viper_2_4 30-Apr-2005 02:42 PM

I would stick with 17s...

Gunmetalef 30-Apr-2005 07:35 PM

you MIGHT get away with it.. but thats tough for sure

what is the width or the rim, the only thing that matters is the width cause believe it or not a 215/35/18 is the same size as 195/55/15 tire. but it is a 215 series so i'm gonna say it should fit but rub if lowered more then 1.5"

if it rubs it will rub on the top of the fender lining and removing the very top fender lining clip will give another 2-3mm.

that said, better hope they are very lightweight or you have a B16, B18 or B20....or its gonna really hurt performance alot with all the extra weight.

U are going to spend more than $1200 on tires for 18's. I would stick with 15's or 17's the most.
