Question

My header is starting to form rust. Was only forming different colors, but now I think Im starting to see rust specs near the flanges.

What can I do to help prevent anymore rusting?

Im sure many people have had this problem but what did you do if anything?

what kind of header is it? DC?
My DC rusted out quick. So i bought a good stainless steel header and its been well over a year and there's no rust/corrosion.

well.. ive had my dc since june.. no sign of rust or anything yet. Aside from a few dirty marks ont he bottom from pulling out my header a few times.. it looks new.

theres not much you can do on headers really because if you use a chemical it will just burn right off (i assume).. try sanding away the rust or paint it with some high temp paint and cure it properly.. it should look better then.
