Qestion to the Supercharged junkys
Ok well yea i have a question and it doesn't have anything to do with a Civic. Well when i did have a Civic and had question you guys were all there to help out and i was hoping that you guys could help me out with a favor. I have a question and it has to deal with a S2k with a SCed motor well it once did and now it doesn't. So i was wondering if i would have an issues if i bought the car? Say if the car was tuned the right way. would i have engine issues after a while?? So to sum it up in a sort sentence. I was wondering if its worth buying or if i would have an issues with the car.
Thanks David |
well...i'd look at the owner who had it before you.
if he constantly BEAT ON IT and didn't do good mantinence (oil, etc), then i wouldnt touch it. if it's someone who had proper tune done, kept mint care of it, didnt always hammer it. then why not..... how many K on it? why was the SC removed?... |
do a compression test on the motor and see how it comes out.. and if everything is put back to stock definately go back to a stock computer..

I'd be a little suspicious....not many ppl remove mods like that then sell the car...
Since it has been boosted, the engine has been under more stress than it was designed to handle. Even if it was tuned right, I wouldn't trust it to run as strong as it did originally. Find out why they removed the SC. |
Well he said he wanted to remove it cause he could get more parting out his car than selling it as one
