Pump?!?!?!?!

I finally had time to get into the shop and work on my swap and i'm putting the B16a into my civic but I wanted to change the water pump and timing belt first.. B16 firt gen 1994 Del Sol V-tec .. no? Wate rpump don't fit?!?!1

the first gen B16 is not the same as the b16 from the Del sol ... not sure what will work ...

huh that's ****ed up I thought they were the same timing belt seeing hwo they are b16's and have the same deck hieght yada yada....call up altech adn ask, they will give your the right crap

I actually bought the parts from napa cuz i get 30% off and i called honda to compare the original timing belt that was origianlly on the engine used the part numver they said that is was from a del sol vtec.. maybe the gave me del sol si.. it is from a del sol comparing part number so..... i'm assumin they gave me del sol si maybe sohc or sumthing or not the Del Sol vtec?? anyideas??

did you get OEM parts? we got a water pump for a D16Z6 from CT (it was Sunday and my buddy didn't care if he had a CT part in his car) and it was the wrong one

now that Bruno Mentions it the Del sol did come with a SOHC engine in some models .... you probably got parts for that

prolly... that would explain why the timing belt is too short. one cam < two cams LOL but in reality 1 cam >>> 2 cams if you know what I mean. rawk on d-series

i kno i kno.. i wanted to but... . it was less than half the price with napa.. i get a discount and it was sooo cheap to say no to.. it can't be that bad .. can it? other than getting order ****ed up.. the parts themselves..

to be honest... you can't know sometimes. sometimes it's fine, others not so good. it's not like the brand names are recognizable, yeah? to be safe I always use OEM peace of mind you can call it.

i bought a pump at napa for ym engine and once i got my pumo out it wasn't even a honda pump... i inspected mine and took it into honda sking for one
they told me mine was perfect

i finally got a 1994 del Sol Vtec pump today.. wrong part again.. thep ully was smalled and the drill holes didn't line up WTF.. so i looked through all the parts and its actually from a 1992 Integra
