proportioning valve question

im hoping to buy a new gsr brake swap for my 92 dx hatch...

what i was wondering was... if i find someone that has a 2000-01 gsr full brake swap and it has abs lines inthe rear... if i don't want to use the abs.. does that mean that i have to get a PV from a non abs car.. or can i still use that pv...

long story short.. i can posibly get my hands on all parts from a 2000 gsr but it had abs... so im iffy on weather i can use the PV for my application or not..

let me know guys..

thanx

I'll trade you my non ABS trailing arms and PV for your ABS ones. I don't know if there is any difference between the 2 PV thouhg.

pv's should be the same, when(if) you upgrade your mc though you will need one that was not abs.

how do you tell ther difference between a non abs mc and an abs mc??

there should be no diff in the master cyl, but the ABS prop valve has only 4 holes, the non ABS one has 6 holes. at least on my car it did.

yeah my pv has 6 holes also...... so when i go to do the conversion i have to make sure to have a non abs pv...... are there non abs gsrs???

can you actually somehow make the nonabs pv work into abs mode? =)
