Don't really know, but I always just Tighten it pretty firm and I've been fine for 2 years now? Know that I've taken my wheels off and put them on many times before, you should be fine

PS: Just don't tighten it too hard where your bolts are making a stripping sound.....STOP!! :D

around 90-100 ft/lbs

thought it was recommended 80ft-lbs for honda/acura.

guess it is 80ft/lbs. But I'm sure no harm will come if you do 90.

When I worked in a shop we used 90-100 for pretty much all cars. I suggest you use 80 ft/lbs if that's what honda suggests.

My honda manual says 80ft/lbs, mechanics have told me 100...

broooin 02-Oct-2005 06:45 PM

ya im at 100 right now so i guess im safe

thanks guys

imported_slowandfurious 02-Oct-2005 06:55 PM

it depends on the type of rim
steel or aluminum
I believe 80lb for aluminum and 90-100 for steelies
check your owners manuel it might be there

i really should invest in a torque wrench.

Does anybody know of anybody selling a used one?

just tighten it till its tight dont waste ur money on a touge wrench just to tighten ur lug nuts.. its a honda not a BMW or anyhtign like that
