problems with tranny after new engine install

just put in a new motor and reinstall my old transmission, now im having two problems....motor runs perfect and no cel's on, but the shifter is all messed up, it will go into gear but will move side to side like its in neutral or something, and if you wanna put it in reverse its so hard and u gotta push it like way,way over not normal at all..... also when i let the clutch out with the car up in the air i can grab the wheels and hold them from moving. what can the problem b? its a 00 ex btw, also i need to properly bleed my clutch

did you put the shifter in the linkage properly (you can put it in backwards then its really close to the dash and weird)?
Did you tighten the 2 bolts that hold the shift linkages to the body of the car (near the shifter)?

i never loosened tho bolts when unhooking the linkage, i just undid the one linkage with the bolt and then the other with the ***** pin, now i lost the ***** pin and stuck a screw and nut in it but it had a little play, ill try putting a more snug piece in tommorow......so that would cause the shifter to move side to side even when its in gear like how it woul wen in neutral? also what about the whole being able to hold the wheel and stop it when its in gear?

damn im far from u, ill get another pin soon, ill put a tight fitting bolt and nut in it for now....so my next question about the wheels, i removed the axles again and all the teeth on the axle and inside the tranny seemed fine, so i dunno why i can hold the wheels still when its in gear, oh and with the wheels off the ground i can put it in each gear without using the clutch, so i dunno whats up

yeah flywheel, clutch were installed properly, i marked everything....im thinking maybe, maybe that since my shifters being allw eird that maybe something on my linkage is loose and causing the car to only go into gear somewhat but not fully? make any sence or no? i got no shift gate right now it feels like
