problem starting car

My 93 DX sometimes will not start. Then 3 minutes or so later it fires right up. When it tries the starter is trying but it seems like the car is not getting fuel.

Tune-up recently done consisted of plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter and fuel filter but the problem is new.

Also sometimes after filling up, you can hear the pressure leave the fuel lines when I remove the fuel cap and it won't start. Which is why i'm thinking fuel pump is on the fritz.

any ideas?

Its an intermitten problem, but is never a problem when the car is running. meaning it dosen't stall once started

when it doesn't start can you hear the fuel pump prime?
Does the CEL come on for 2 seconds then go off?
When it doesn't start you should pull a spark plug out and check for spark.

I tested the plugs and wires for spark for a different problem and ruled them out.

I couldn't tell if the pump primed, there was construction right behind where I was parked but i'll pay attention when it does it next time.

CEL goes off when the other lights go off prior to starting and does not come back.

How do I check the main relay?

Hot weather dosen't seem to make a difference, its intermitten but starts when its 35. Sometimes after driving it won't re-start after filling up so cold or hot engine dosen't seem to matter either.

Where exactly is the main relay? I'll have a look at it.
