just a quik question.. i'm thinking my alternator could be going.. but some times when i stop at a light intending to turn left .. i have my blinker on.. and i'm sitting there.. and my rpm's actaully move to the blinker... i would think my alternator.. but no battery light comes on and my lights don't dim ( all the time) when bass kicks in on my system.. ( my rpms used to go up and down to my old system ) jus wondering if you think its my alternator

naw, I don't think it's the alternator... prolly just magnetic interference somehow.

i duno if it would make a difference but my tach is a 5" autometer.. i dont have one in my cluster

yeah, its prolly a wiring issue with some interference. Try to find another ground and power source, maybe test it while hooked up right to the battery for power.

i noticed it doesn't do it all the time.. mostly after listening to my system decently loud... as well.. at a light my rpms go slightly higher when the bass kicks in... do you think my alternator could be going?

Or your alternator is not strong enough..Dan, check out Dominion Alternator is Mississauga. He does wicked rebuilds cheap. Take off yours, head over to his shop and see what he can do..

Dan, at least your car doesn't pulsate like the one I saw on the highway. Hahaha it was so funny, it was dark and this guy in a black EK had his tail/head lights pulsing every second.
