Post pix of rear shock mounts with aftermarket shocks...
 

Hey, I tried searching but couldn't find notting. Whoever has pix of rear shock mounts on a EG/EJ with aftermarket suspension, can you please post pictures of it.

how about this?

well I need to see how aftermarket shocks will bolt up the the Shock mount.

It's the part where you would bolt on your rear strut bar to, that's I think the strut mount

or maybe this?

in the first picture is the "lower arm" aka lower control arm... that is what you bolt the strut to...

or if you look inthe second pic that bolt you see in the bottle right of the picture is the bolt used... and since you car is about as old as mine that bolt wont come out wihtout a fight

explain your problem again, I can explain the whole setup procedure.. I read your post on LAC and it sounds like you assembled the mount and shock wrong... I didnt really understand what happened tho...


I have a very similar setup to you and it rides nice... so somethings wrong.. I doubt ull get any pics cuz most peoples setups are on their car already... an installation instruction should be explaind here...

Im off to bed, but ill try and explain the proper install in the morning.. maybe if you explain your problem/ setup/ parts ect here you will get more help...

why do you wanna see where a strut bar attaches to?? if your looking for it you wont see it with interior in the car.... there are two covers that clip into place which cover the strut towers from inside.... but even with those off you still wont be able to get a rear strut bar is... you'll need to cut the interior panels a little

hey guys, thanks for all the help, but the thing that I forgot to put is a washer onto the shock to keep it in place.

I put that on and my suspension is great
