Possible Thermostat problem, Please help!!
Hey guys! People stoppped responding to my other thread so I thought I'd start another one and link the previous one to this because I need help on a possible solution...
Here's the previous link... As I stated, I took my GF's car (99 Civic EX) to get the Radiator flushed and filled. As soon as the service was done, the temperature gauge started acting up. The car would show that it's warm, then all of a sudden, slowly start moving down to cold - "C" - and stay there for a while. Eventually, it would slowly rise but then it would drop again. Some of you have mentioned that it could be air bubbles, but unfortunately it's not! The guy at Mr Lube says its the thermostat. Do you guys believe so too? Even though the temperature gauge drops, I still get heat in the car! Please help! |
I had that happen in my old prelude....my sister had driven it like that for a month...When I drove the car the rad blew....I would have to agree that it is your thermostat ....
