PLS reply. Simple question if u can help me out.

I've just brought a civic cx hatch. The guy told me the engine was gone so the person before put a d16z6 v-tec. SOHC. I want to know how many HP does that give me? I drove it and it is pretty quick. I think it came out of a 99 si engine. Is that correct? Well hope someone can reply my easy question. Sorry to waste 1 min of your time.

d16z6 is outta 92-95 civic Si and they are around 127hp

99 Si has a D16Y8 engine
92-95 Civic Si/EX has a D16Z6 engine

both have 127hp

They all have v-tec in those engine? My engine doesn't say v-tec but it is v-tec. I think it came from the states. When i drove it i think it is pretty fast too. So it does have 127hp rite? Does si and ex have that engine too? Mine is a USDM and not a JDM. Any major diff between the 2 of the engine and hp?
