hey guys i have a b16a, planning to put a gsr hydo tranny to it. i did not get a wiring harness with the motor. The question is would i be able to use my factory acura el harness with the motor which has is vtec? Or will i have to go for a b16a harness. Also what about using a gsr harness with a obd2 computer? Anythought of what i should use? please pm me or wright me back, i really dont know what to do
thanx

your best to stick with a b16 tranny on a b16... the gsr gearing will just make you wait longer for vtec

Punk did you read the post he's asking about wiring harnesses...

Slow and Furious,

the b16a is it OBD2? if not you will have to either A) convert the engine to ODB2 (could be hard to do) or B) convert the ECU wiring and Harness to the OBD level of the Engine (easier but you will need a wiring harness

if the motor is OBD1 then you have to convert the car to OBD1 you might be able to get away with using the OBD2 wiring harness and leaving the plugs disconnected that don't have sensors however, AFAIK the plugs are different between the 2 generations...
