Please help...engine problem!!
i got a 95 civic coupe si... recently put in a jdm d15b vtec... i have a problem with the idling...it dips down to zero rpm when the car is really warm. i changed the idle control two times and still the same so thats not the problem. Also have a problem when starting the car SOMETIMES... when i start the car it dips to zero rpm and stays like that ...basically the car seems like its struggling.. I have no idea what the problem is. I changed all spark plugs,wires,cap and rotor,fuel filter and still have this problem.. can someone let me know if they have ever encountered this problem. thanx!!

yeah wut ecu are u running and do u have a fpr?
try adjustignm the idle control screw on your intake manifold..
or if u got hondata u can unplug the idle control valve and adjust the screw, crank ignition retard it just a tad,run a bigger injector and increase the target idle ,advance ignition and lean using the emulator, and set the idle at 830 thas your best idle

ya it was vtec to vtec swap..so im guessing the same ecu...
hondata??... sorry not familiar with mechanical stuff....i had it done professionally...obviously not professional enough.. and the place where i got it done doesnt even know whats wrong..
does anybody know a shop where i can get it looked at??and wont rip me off...

IF YOU WANT TO BRING IT TO MIDAS AT KIPLING AND QUEESNWAY I CAN LOOK AT IT. I HAD A PROBLEM LIKE THAT ON MY D15B SWAP WHEN I DID MINE BUT MY RPMS WOULD GO UP TO 1200 THEN DOWN TO 400 THEN BACK UP AND SO ON. MY PROBLEM WAS A VACUUM LEAK. 1ST OFF DO YOU HAVE ANY ENGINE LIGHTS? THEN CHECK IF THERE IS THE HARNESS IF FULLY PLUGGED IN.
