Please help...either cylinder head or pistons/block???

today I was on the highway and was doing about 190 km/h. I got off the highway and noticed that my oil light was on and as I was driving whenever i would go above 3000 RPM I would hear knocking from the motor. I was like wtf? then i started to go again but from start to 3000 rpm no knock, above 3000 there would be a knock. Now what Im thinking happened is that cause I was going pretty fast and I was low on oil then the speed of the valvetrain wasnt getting lubed enough? so what do you guys think the problem is:
rockers?
valves?
spun a bearing?
piston?
etc

hahahahahahahahhhahahaha

thats what you get for driving like a tool

just push the clutch in a put it to the floor and end it...lol

you prob messed the bottom end...top end requires way less oil etc...

yeah, you spun your bearing. that's called rod knock. anyways, thumbsdown for being an idiot.

rockers?

I would think this could be your problem. Goto CT or any Honda dealer and order a new set of rockers for your OHC Civic. :D

BTW: 190KM/h = D.L. good-bye, $thousands in fines. I wouldn't worry about the Insurance rate at moment since you won't have a Lic.

i had a similar thing when i used to have my d16 in my ek... the knocking on mine i was told was piston slap from frying the piston rings... i didn't have an ounce of oil in my car after i checked it when the problem happened... it started knocking anything above 3500 for a while then it was 3000 then it was like 2800... it was like a spinning knocking noise.. i don't know how to describe it, but maybe its similar to your situation... i got a swap after... i am much happier now... good reason to get one.

Funny thing, my EF died the same way....I musta been doing 180, got off at Dixie to go home and CLUCK CLUCK CLUCK no power, struggled to get home....Mine showed signs though, the noise was around for 2-3 weeks before, I only blew mine cause I knew I was swapping in a b-series.
Time for a swap man.
