whats the difference- you wont be able to tell anyways if it has tein or other **** - it s adjustable to what ever height you want- if you want you can adjust it so it looks stock - you cant really see the coilover anyways barried behind the wheel

Tein S Tech are lowering springs, not coilovers. They cannot be adjusted. The S Tech are supposed to be a little lower and softer the H&R or Neuspeed Sports, but you won't notice a difference of 0.5" anyway.

well does anyone have pics of that setup with s.tech springs? also ** - does anyone have goldline springs - i was thinking about returing m s.techs or 1.8" drop to get the goldine which are abit less 1.125"
what oyu guys think? not much dif. from 1.8- to 1.125??

1.1" vs 1.8" is a big diff. 1.1" is barely dropped at all, no alignment problems but still wheel gap.
1.8" you'll need a camber kit to get it prefectly aligned (most people just live with some negative camber wear, not a big deal) and there will be no wheel gap.
i'd go 1.8" drop. google tein and you'll get results. http://www.tein.com/ti/h98.html its a pic of 6th gen dropped on s-techs

my 97 hatch is about that low with eibach prokits, almost at least, and I drive it in the winter no problems...I don't even notice any ride difference from stock other than it handles better but it's not nearly as harsh as my 90 with sportlines

ok ...great..so i guess i shouldnt be so worried about installing my s.techs that i have already bought. i was going to trade them in for a credit at AW and buy GOLDLINE SPRINGS instead which has an 1.125" drop rather then 1.8 ...- btw - anyone have goldlines? or know about the??maybe that will be safer to go with

I've installed a set of Goldline springs on an '02 cavalier. Not a civic I know but the car rode like a truck. I wasn't impressed at all.
Friend of mine has a set of eibach sportlines, Agx shocks on his EK coupe. Rides great, and handles pretty good as well.

The drop on the Teins is basically the same as the H&R springs I have. I've never had any problems in the snow with my snow tires on. When we do get lots of snow in the winter, the roads are plowed within a day anyway. The Teins have softer rates then most other springs too, so your ride will be a little softer on the crappy Hamilton roads.
