Physical difference between D15B1 and D15B2

Hi,

Can anyone help me pinpoint the physical difference between a D15B1 and a D15B2 in an 90 civic.

It's a CX with a replaced engine, but I'd like to confirm for sure which engine it was replaced with.

thanks in advance.

the exact designation is stamped right on the block, on the left front side of the block, where the tranny and block come together, just south-west of the exhaust manifold. Some brake cleaner may help you clean it up and locate it.

hi again,

Do you guys mind posting a quick digital photo of where it might be. I can't seem to find it. Granted, I couldn't stand outside for more than 3 minutes today (damn cold). I'll try again on the weekend

look straight below the distributor, where the tranny fits up ... its a little square looking badge that extrudes from the motor casting. its prolly very black, so either scrape it with a putty knife or clean it good with paper towels and some cleaner.
