Penetrating Oil

Anybody know a good one??

I have a lower rear damper bolt that has decided to stick to the bushing in the damper:shooter:

lol there's no way u can get that out with any sort of oil, best thing to do would be to cut it out, and get new lower control arms. battlendless has megans for $145

Its the bolt in the shock, through the trailing arm...I'll have it cut if I have to, I'm just hoping to get lucky.

trust me man, I was doing this on sat, used almost everything on it, wouldn't budge. Just take the torch and cut it out, but be careful what you're cutting, you don't want to cut piece of your trailing arm with it. good luck

ps. if you find out a way to get it out let us know.

heat it up "go to a shop"

lol nice pic

Yeah I'm prpbably going to have to. I already have the new bolt and bushing.

Only kicker is the nut the bolt goes into is welded to the trailing arm. So but cutting the head off the bolt, it dosen't get me too far. I just have a shaft stuck through the trailing arm and bushing.

I will have to crawl under and figure it out.

Heat up the bolt and try to loosen it again. It usually works.
