PCV hole in Teg valve cover

PCV hole in Teg valve cover
I have a 96 LS motor with the PCV on the top on the valve cover. I purchased a Chrome plated 94-95 Teg valve cover and the problem is the PCV valve hole is not on this cover. I talked to Ken at KSR a while back when he was still an affililate and he said to tap into the plug that is located on the back of the block beside the oil pressure switch and put in an inline filter and hook that up to the PCV valve. Well I did all that and I tried starting my motor yesterday and needless to say I have oil in my intake manifold now. I took off the inline filter and it was saturated in oil. This isn't right.
I plan on putting everything back the way it was.
The question I'm really want to know is, can I just make a hole for the PCV valve on the top on my new valve cover?
TIA!

actually alot of guys bulding frank motors run into this problem as well.
your problem was you didn't use a catch can to grab all the oil before it got to the intake manifold.
endyn sells a kit which involves an oil catch can to address this problem.
you can certainly make this kit yourself and use a universal catch can from Greddy or whatever.
Basiacally you just run the catch can between the pcv valve on the block and the intake manifold.. works like a charm
here's a pic b0rrowed from some crazy lebanese dude
the catch can is beside the intake arm. a line is run from the pcv valve on the back of the block to the can. another line is run from can to the intake manifold.
You could drill the valve cover but this isn't the best way to do it.
