Opinions please

Im thinking about doing a swap in the near future. At first i was just thinkin' a B18 or a GSR(note i got a EGSedan) but then one of my friends suggested a CRV engine B20b?or a? i think. I was like WTF? SUV? Dunno if this is even possible but.. He said it was a direct bolt on which surprised me.. any thoughts as to any experiences or drawbacks etc.. would be helpful

A B20B is not exactly a bolt in, though the block will fit into the stock locations. B20Z has more power but is JDM only. B20B needs the B18B intake and exhaust manifolds...by the time you get all your **** together, you might as well be buying a B18C.

b20 is a good way to go BUT rememebr that most crv's came AUTO which means you will have to source a b series tranny. thas why i decided no swap for now

b16a or b18c still have no torque unless you consider an H22.
What is better is a frankenstien moter or a b18b turbo.
Go turbo on a b18b moter or b18c on a b20 or b16 on b18(pour man type r)
note i got a EGSedan
How fast do you want to go in a sedan?
Think about that...(its heavy) Is it worth the money?

I seen a post the other day, $4000gs gets you a 89, b16 civic hatch. The whole car! Your lookin at low 14's!! Its going to cost you some $$$ to make a sedan do that. And 14s isnt even fast my friend.

Try a search too.
I dunno. Good luck.

I don't think EG sedans are that heavy. Isn't a EG LX sedan lighter than a EG SI hatch, corect me if I'm wrong?

Edmunds.com:

93 DX Sedan - 2275lbs
93 EX Sedan - 2520lbs
93 DX HB - 2178lbs
93 Si HB - 2326lbs

The EG sedans were very light. As you can see, the DX sedan is lighter than the Si HB.

245lbs difference between the DX vs the EX sedan. While the SI and DX hatches only has a 148lbs difference.
