I recently purchased a 91 integra...

It's a 5 spd...
Has CAI

Can anyone suggest what I should do or buy next for a performance upgrade... (best bang for buck)

Header??
Vtec swap??
Electrical??

Open to any and all suggestions...also suggested pricing of the upgrades as well..

all replies greatly appreciated..

Thanks Kevin

what are your goals and what is your budget...I coudl say many this are best bag for the buck..I coudl say slap a huge turbo on with a standalone and make huge power is a good bang for the buck...depends on how much "buck" you have..

My budget right now for my car is roughly $500 a week I can spend on my car...
I can play with around $2000 right now...
I'd prefer not to go all out right away...
Just need some suggestions, starting with the cheaper mods..
to the more expensive mods...
suggested HP gain... whatever you think...
All help appreciated..

Thanks again

Kevin

if the car isn't winter driven i'd say get a nice spring and shock combo... maybe some light rims and good rubber

so if you have springs and good shocks then buy some good rubber for summer like falken azenis

these are the things I'd do for nwo to get everythign ready:

sell your rims and get some real light 15's with falken azenis rubber
stainless brake lines and new calipers where applicable
get all new rotors and hawk street pads (or soem aem pads cause they are cheaper)

short shifter and stabilizer bushing (bushing is key)

motor mount inserts and new suspenion bushign where applicable

basically just get the car nice and tight and fresh for now

then in summer I'd say if your motor is fresh then get i/h/e then get a ys1or j1 tranny from a jdm b16 motor for shorter gearing

that coupled with the bushings suspension and breather's woudl make for a nice tight little car to boot around in

or instead get a integra front clip and swap the b16 adn tranny and use that

for 2K get a B20 a new clutch and swap it in, you already have a tranny for it, and its a straight up drop in, no mess.

Yeah i hear that...
But for 2 g's how many HP is that engine???

Is there another way without doing a whole engine swap to spend 2g's... like even the Vtec head?? Pr3 pistons?? upgraded intake???

And where and how would I find a B20??

Thanks Kevin

b20 pffttt...not that worth it...isnt' that great of a starting point for modding seeing how to get anywhere you need to get it sleeved

but ya abotu 140 hp with a bit mroe torque then your motor...but with the ls intake and brethers it woudl be an ok setup torquey as ****....check out tiger automotive or lucky star for a jdm import

I'd honestly jsut do what I said personally get everything upgraded so your ride is tight for future high speed and hp..even if you car isnt' super fast there's soemthign abotu having a car that is super tight and handles sweet

me personally would go b16..for soem reason I'd jsut liek to get a whoel clip to verify km's and to swap body parts etc.

get all the breathers Intake/Header/Exhaust no need for bigger injectors yet unless u wanna run nitrous but I wouldnt do it...get some underdrive accesory pullies (not the crank pulley...will **** up ur motor)

how fast do u wanna go? cuz if u just want a basic quick streetster I would just do some basic bolt ons (the I/H/E, fuel pressure regular, underdrive accersory pullies) stiffen up the chassis with lower tie bars and maybe a floor bar too...but if u really wanna spend some cash go and drop in a GSR motor and then do the boltons to that...the car looks nice with them JDM headlights and those monster brakes!
