Oil smells like gas
 

Well, my car seems to be running way too rich and now the oil smells like gas even thought i just did an oil change last night....is this a horrible problem and what could be causing it? and how can it be fixed?.....the engine is a b18b integra..:thumbup:

From what you describe, you've probably washed out the rings.

most cars the oil smells like gas...well on older engines...its not that big a deal, oil is on the cylinder walls, in the cylinders there is fuel, its bound to mix up and cause the oil to smell like gas...is the oil black already?

Yeah man, perhaps after 5000 kilometers...But the day AFTER he's done an oil change? Doesnt sound right to me.

faulty MAP maybe?
Tell us what codes your getting.
A faulty MAP will cause the car to run like crap, really bad, though.

u said the car is getting crappy milage right?
maybe your just running rich and the ecu needs to get tuned.
have zeeman tune your ecu and set the map

or just get the proper ecu..

he's got the right ecu...and you can't chip obd2 ecus.

or is it converted to obd1?

yah, team rukus said it was obd1 with a conversion harness so is it still possible for u to chip that ecu zeeman? i pay I pay! i just don't need a blown engine now....=(

its a 95 ls so its obd1 with conversion harness.
