Oil pressure

Hey Guy getting ready to pull all my hair out now i was having a v tech oil pressure code pretty much everytime i hit v tech. Now with the new cams and new wiring from the computer i only get it coming on when i have the car at wide open throttle, i was just wondering if it could be a tuning problem or if i need to get a higher volume oil pump. Any suggestions will help please that CEL light is driving me crazy.

it could be the vtec oil pressure switch itself, or a problem with the ecu.

are you using a p06 thats been converted to a p28? Or any other ecu thats had the vtec components added in?
From my experiences, sometimes the high side switches (specifically the 5050's) don't work properly, i've only had this problem with the 5050's never the 5151's and i find/re-use the 5050's a lot more than i do 5151's, so its possible the high side switch on your ecu isn't working right.
I'd check the ground for the vtec oil pressure switch, make sure its all good.

i've never seen tuning cause a vtec code to disappear.
Its either something mechanical or electrical.
Did you solder/shrinkwrap all connections when running the wires for vtec?
