oil preesure gauge

i have a auotmeter oil pressure gauge, its a mechanical one, i dont know where i can tap into the oilpressure on the motor. any help please.

take it back and get an electrical one...other than that u gotta "Tee" off from where the stock sender is...do a search there is a thread on installing an electrical oil pressure gauge...all u do is disregard wherever it talks about the "sending unit" and put the line connector from the engine to the gauge

I have to agree with the cheap bastard ^

you really should get a electric one, and they are not even that much more money.

above the oil filter and slightly to the left (driver side) of the block, you will see a sensor, that's the oil pressure sensor tapped into the block with M10x1.0 thread. Drain your oil, take out the stock oil press sensor... put in a stainless braided line from that hole in the block to a tee on the firewall, and to the tee, you will attach the stock oil press sensor and the aftermarket oil press sensor.
